Apple Crisp

4 cups granny smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
Directions
- Place sliced apples into a 9 inch round pie plate. (Apples should be cut into 4 pieces, then sliced to about 1/4 inch thick pieces.)
- For topping, combine butter, sugar and flour in a mixing bowl. ( I used a pastry blender.)
- Mix until crumbly (pea size) and sprinkle over apples.
- Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
